PDC cutters are widely used for petroleum and oil field PDC bit, geological PDC exploration bits, gas exploration bits, PDC coal mining drill bits. PDC is mainly applicable for PDC drilling bit for drilling into soft and intermediate-hardness stratum.

Composition of PDC Cutters

PDC cutters are comprised of a carbide substrate combined with diamond grit. These components are compacted under conditions of approximately 2800 degrees Fahrenheit and a pressure of around 1,000,000 psi. Additionally, a cobalt alloy is incorporated to serve as a catalyst during the sintering process.
