Drilling Viscosifier Polymer CHP PLUS (powder form) is a readily dispersible polymer additive designed to provide shale stabilization in freshwater to saltwater drilling fluids ranging from low solids muds. CHP PLUS acts as a viscosifier, and friction reducer, while also providing some fluid-loss control. Application

SMD Drilling polymer CHP PLUS provides cuttings encapsulation and improved wellbore stability in a variety of drilling fluids. It can be used as a single product, low solids mud system, or it can be combined with SMD Bentonite CX GEL or SMD Viscosifiers CX TROL to form a more robust mud system.

It is ideally suited for use in horizontal directional drilling, water well, mining, and tunneling applications.

Recommended Treatment:

Add SMD Powder Drilling Polymer CHP PLUS in concentration of 0.7 to 3.0 kg/m³ (0.2 to1.05 lb/bbl) to any active system. Mix slowly through a jet mixer or sift slowly into the vortex of a high-speed stirrer.
